SITE SUPERVISOR

PERMANENT

FTE – £17,036 – £20,291

HOURS: 32 – 39.5 per week, 52 weeks per year

Our large site of an infant and junior school buildings and extensive grounds requires a full-time Site Supervisor to work alongside our current Site Manager.

We are looking for someone to be as enthusiastic and dedicated to helping us make our environment as outstanding as it possibly can be for our children and staff alike.  There would be some level of responsibility i.e. keyholding / premises duties, audit compliancy and Health and Safety and cleaning checks.

The perfect applicant would be a great team player however would also need to be able to work under their own supervision and use their initiative.   Previous experience of site maintenance is desirable however not essential.  Full induction and ongoing training will be given.
A successful candidate would also be able to competently and safely perform a range of general DIY tasks ie painting, grass cutting, minor repairs. 

We require someone who can communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, as well as in emails and potentially Governors meeting in the Site Manager’s absence.

We are looking for:

A Teaching Assistant to join our team to support the learning of children. You will work with the children on an individual, group or whole class basis and support the school as required by the Director of Learning and Director of Inclusion.

You will:

  • have over a year’s experience in a similar role or possess an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant subject,
  • support pupils in accessing learning activities,
  • support our teachers by providing feedback and maintaining records,
  • value the diversity of individuals,
  • recognise that children have very different and individual needs and be able to tailor your provision accordingly,
  • be able to motivate and encourage children on an individual basis and as part of a group,
  • possess or be willing to obtain a first aid qualification,
